He was born in the city of Stryi and later lived in the village of Pidhorodna, Pervomaisk District, Mykolaiv Oblast. He was a machine gunner in the territorial defense battalion of a military unit. He was killed on August 29 while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Zelene, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. He was 52 years old.
🕯️Petro Ostash
A native of the village of Hrabovets, he lived in the village of Duliby in the Hrabovets-Duliby community. He was a rifleman in the 2nd squad of the 3rd rifle platoon of the rifle company of the 3rd rifle battalion of the 2nd Halych Brigade. He had been considered missing for a long time. He was killed on August 18, 2025, near the settlement of Myroliubivka, Donetsk Oblast. The defender was 52 years old.
🕯️ Andrii Medvid
He lived in the Radekhiv community. The defender served as a technician-driver at the border guard anti-aircraft missile outpost of the third rapid response border commandant’s office of military unit 9937. He was killed on September 4 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Chorne in Kharkiv Oblast. He was 51 years old.
🕯️ Vitalii Bekharskyi
A resident of Lviv. He joined the defense of Ukraine in 2024. He served with the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Anne of Kyiv. He was killed on October 6, 2025. He was 50 years old.
🕯️ Andrii Sidliar
A native of the village of Pobuzhany in the Busk community of Zolochiv District. He joined the defense of Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. He served with the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade “Edelweiss.” He was awarded the “War Veteran” medal. He was killed on December 11, 2025. He was 54 years old.
🕯️ Roman Myhal
He was born in the village of Sokilnyky, Lviv District. He took up the defense of the country in 2014. He served in the ranks of the 3rd Special Department of the Military Law and Order Service. He was awarded the “For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation” distinction, the honorary “Cross — Always Faithful” distinction, the departmental distinction of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine — the “Veteran of Service” medal, and the “For Service to the State” distinction. He was killed on September 10. He was 47 years old.
🕯️ Andrii Savchyn
A native of the settlement of Dobrotvir, Sheptytskyi District. He served as a senior rifleman-unmanned aerial vehicle operator in the 3rd assault company of the 1st assault battalion of military unit A4862. He was awarded the “War Veteran” medal. He was killed on May 20, 2025. He was 58 years old.
