Today, November 3, Lviv will say goodbye to two more Heroes. Andriy Tsvihun and Taras Tysovsky died in the battle with the Russian invaders. The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremonies and refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.
The funeral ceremony will take place in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, the soldiers will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.
At 11:00 a.m., Andriy Tsvigun’s funeral service will begin, at 11:30 a.m. – a city farewell ceremony on Rynok Square.
At 3:00 p.m., Taras Tysovsky’s funeral ceremony will take place, at 3:30 p.m. – a city farewell ceremony on Rynok Square.

Biographical references of Heroes
Andriy Tsvigun (07.08.1976-22.10.2022). A native of Lviv.
He studied at secondary comprehensive school No. 54 in the city of Lviv, in 1986 he entered secondary comprehensive school No. 78 of grades I-III. He also graduated from Lyceum No. 28 of the Lviv City Council. Obtained the qualification of a mechanical mechanic at the Lviv Secondary Vocational and Technical School No. 25.
After completing his studies, he joined the military unit A0592. In peacetime, he worked in the construction industry and was a master of his craft.
During 2016, he performed combat missions in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation as part of the “OUN” Volunteer Battalion.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended Ukraine from the Russian invaders in the ranks of the 71st Separate Hunter Brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Andrii Tsvigun is survived by his wife, 4-year-old daughter, mother and brother.
Taras Tysovskyi (16.03.1989-01.11.2022). A native of the village of Zhupany, Lviv region.
He studied at the municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training named after Heroes of Krut”.
Graduated from Lviv State University of Internal Affairs. Later, he completed his military service in the city of Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk region.
In 2007-2011, he was in the ranks of the 45th operational regiment named after Oleksandr Krasitskyi of the Western operational-territorial unit of the National Guard of Ukraine.
During 2019-2020, he worked at the private enterprise Kapitalprombud.
Senior soldier. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended the Motherland as part of the 2nd separate Galician brigade of the Western operational territorial unit of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Taras Tysovsky is survived by his wife, son, mother, sister and brother.
