Today, Lviv Oblast says goodbye to four defenders

Every day at 9 o’clock, we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who have lost their lives for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.

Today, Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:

🕯️Олег Danylo

Danylo was born in the village of Muzhylovychi, Novoyavoriv community. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The defender died on 6 February 2024 in Donetsk region. He was 40 years old. Oleh is survived by his father and brother.

🕯️Максим Dranitskiy

The defender was from Novoyavorivsk. In January 2024, he came to the defence of his homeland. The hero died on 7 February 2024 near the town of Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region. He was 23 years old. Maksym is survived by his father, mother, brother and sister.

🕯️Роман Seredych

A resident of Lviv. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend Ukraine as part of the 15th Operational Brigade named after the Hero of Ukraine, Lieutenant B. Zavada, of the Southern Operational and Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine. The warrior died on 3 February 2024. He was 41 years old. The defender is survived by his mother, daughters, sister and large family.

🕯️ Ihor Kosikovskyi

A resident of the village of Dmytriv. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he has been defending his homeland from Russian invaders in the ranks of the 214th separate special OPFOR battalion of the International Peacekeeping and Security Centre of the Hetman Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy.

For his personal courage, Ihor was awarded the Silver Cross, an honorary badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The defender died on 6 February 2024. He was 55 years old. He is survived by his mother, wife, two children and a large family
