Today Lviv region says goodbye to four defenders
Marian Ryshko
A native of the village of Hrushev. He came to the defence of his homeland at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. He performed combat missions as a member of the 103rd separate brigade of territorial defence named after Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky. The soldier died on 19 August at the age of 41.
Volodymyr Myliyan
A resident of Lviv. At the beginning of the full-scale war, he joined the Armed Forces. He served in the 53rd separate mechanised brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. The defender died on 18 August. He was 37 years old.
Stepan Havryliuk
A resident of the village Oplitna, Zhovkva community. He served in the military unit A0998. The soldier was considered missing. On the eve of his death near the village of Loskutivka, Luhansk region, on 22 June 2022, his death was confirmed. The defender is forever 37.
Zinoviy Gnyda
A resident of the village of Zadvirya. He came to the defence of his homeland in 2022. He died on 19 August 2024 while performing a combat mission near the village of Vyshnivka, Kursk region. The warrior was 48 years old.
