Every day at 9:00 a.m., Ukraine observes a moment of silence to honor the memory of those who lost their lives fighting against Russian aggression.
Today, the Lviv region bids farewell to four brave defenders who sacrificed their lives for the independence of our country.

A resident of Zahirya village, Solonkivska community, Lviv district.
The soldier defended Ukraine on the eastern front. He was killed on January 7 during a combat mission in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region. He was 52 years old. - 🕯️ Nazar Pavlyshche
A native of Dublyany, Lviv region.
At the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the 225th Separate Assault Battalion. He defended the state first in the Sumy region and later on the Kursk front. - 🕯️ Volodymyr Povroznyk
A resident of Lviv.
After Russia’s invasion, he joined the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces to defend Ukraine. He carried out missions in the Sumy region and on the Kursk front. - 🕯️ Ivan Halushka
Born in Mykyty village, Zolochiv district.
He served in the 64th Separate Battalion of the 103rd Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces named after Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky. Since May 25, 2023, he had been missing near Lyman in the Kharkiv region. He was 33 years old.
