Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:
🕯️Андрій Potyuk
A resident of Stryi. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he returned to Ukraine to join the Armed Forces. He was a rifleman of a machine gun platoon. The defender died on February 20, 2024 near the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. He was 35 years old.
🕯️Микола Shalankevych
A defender from Stryi. He participated in combat operations in the ATO zone as part of the 80th separate airmobile regiment. From the beginning of the full-scale war, he defended his homeland in the ranks of the 24th King Danylo Brigade. The warrior died on February 19, 2024 as a result of artillery shelling near the village of Leonidivka, Donetsk region.
🕯️Олег Kusovych
A resident of the village of Yasenivtsi. In 2020, he joined the Armed Forces. He was the senior gunner of the 1st self-propelled artillery platoon of the 5th self-propelled artillery battery of the 2nd self-propelled artillery battalion of the military unit A0998. The defender died on February 19, 2024, during a combat mission near the village of Leonidivka, Donetsk region. He was 23 years old.
🕯️Олег Blues
A native of the village of Drokhovychi. In the first months of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend his homeland. Then he joined the ranks of the 215th Battalion of the 125th separate brigade of territorial defense of the regional directorate “West” of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The soldier died on February 17, 2024. He was 35 years old.
