Every day at 9 o’clock, we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who have died for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.
Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:
🕯️ Serhiy Peklych
A resident of the village of Mukani, Radekhiv community.
He was a rifleman and medic. He served in the military unit A1008. He died on February 26, 2024 in the Kharkiv region.
🕯 Ihor Ozhybko
He was born in the village of Lysynychi. He lived in Lviv. He was a combat medic. With the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he joined the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo to defend his homeland. He defended the state on the southern and eastern directions.
🕯 Oleksandr Pitsyk
Born in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. He graduated from Lviv Polytechnic National University.
From the first months of the full-scale invasion, he fought in the southern direction as part of the 15th Operational Brigade named after the Hero of Ukraine, Lieutenant Bohdan Zavada.
🕯 Andriy Kiselyov
Born in the family of a military medic, he spent his childhood in the town of Novyi Rozdil, Lviv region. He spent more than twenty years of his life working at Lvivoblenergo. In 2015-2017, he performed combat missions in the anti-terrorist operation zone.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he fought in the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo. During his service, he was promoted to the rank of “major” and took up the position of battalion commander.
He was awarded numerous decorations for personal courage. He fought on the southern and eastern directions.
