Today, Lviv region says goodbye to twelve defenders
Petro Desyatnyk
A native of the village of Drozdovychi, Horodok community. He was a soldier of the Luhansk Border Guard Detachment, an inspector of the Border Guard Service. On 18 August, 2024, he was wounded near the village of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region. He died on 20 August at the Dnipro Regional Clinical Hospital named after I. Mechnikov.
Roman Hladiv
He was born in the village of Zabolotivtsi, Zhydachiv community. He was a rifleman of the motorised infantry battalion of the 14th separate mechanised brigade. He died on 21 August 2024 near the village of Vilshana, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region. He was 28 years old.
Yurii Stomarivskyi
Originally from Novyi Rozdil.
He was a rifleman of the 5th rifle battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine. He died on 23 August near the village of Myroliubivka, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region.
He was 40 years old.
Pavlo Kolohin
A resident of the village of Dubie, Zolochiv district. He has been defending Ukraine since March 2022. He was a machine gunner of the rifle division of the rifle platoon of the rifle company. He died on 20 August 2024 near the village of Vyshnivka, Korenivka district, Kursk region. He was 35 years old.
Ivan Savarynsky
A resident of the village of Ditkivtsi, Zolochiv district. The soldier was an assistant gunner of an airborne assault company of a military unit. He died on 22 August 2024 as a result of a massive artillery shelling in the territory of the Russian Federation. He was 42 years old.
Boris Vladimirov
A resident of Truskavets.
He was a soldier, National Guard, external pilot (operator) of unmanned aerial vehicles of the rifle battalion of the military unit 3002. He died during a combat mission near the village of Hradivka, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region, on 22 August 2024.
Serhiy Povkh
A resident of Zolochiv. The warrior was a senior sapper of the military unit A0853, a senior soldier.
He died on 24 August, 2024 near the Soledar territorial community, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. He was 37 years old.
Modest Zubrycki
A resident of Lviv.
During the full-scale Russian invasion, he defended Ukraine as a member of the military unit A0500 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Hero died on 13 August 2024.
Yurii Andrienko
A resident of Lviv. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he defended Ukraine in the 59th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk of the South Operational Command.
The Hero died on 8 August 2024.
Oleksandr Kachmarik
A resident of Lviv.
During the full-scale Russian invasion, he joined the 192nd separate territorial defence battalion of the 124th separate territorial defence brigade of the regional department “South” to defend his homeland. He defended Ukraine in the Kherson direction.
He died on 18 August 2024.
Pavlo Gebuza
A resident of Lviv. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he stood up to defend Ukraine in the ranks of the 49th separate infantry battalion “Carpathian Sich” named after Oleh Kutsyn of the 93rd separate mechanised brigade “Kholodnyi Yar” of the operational command “East”. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk sector.
The Hero died on 18 August 2024.
Viktor Pelykh
A resident of the town of Busk. During the full-scale war, he defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. He was the commander of a machine gun platoon. He died on 24 August, 2024 in the village of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. The warrior was 24 years old.
