Lviv region says goodbye to two defenders today

Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders

🕯️ Petro Panchyshyn

Originally from the village of Medenychi, Drohobych district. After graduation, he was drafted into the army. After the full-scale invasion, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in December 2022. He died on 7 February 2024 during a mortar attack on one of the settlements of Donetsk region.

🕯️ Mykola Gaba

A resident of the village of Ponykovytsia, Zolochiv district. He fought in the Joint Forces Operation and returned to the Armed Forces with the beginning of the full-scale invasion. For almost two years, he defended Ukraine in the hottest spots. The warrior was a platoon commander of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade’s unmanned aerial vehicle platoon, a senior lieutenant.

In civilian life, Mykola Haba was a deputy of the Brody City Council of the Zolochiv District, Lviv Region.

He died on 8 February 2024 in Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.

The defender is survived by his parents, wife, two daughters and sister.
