Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
🕯️Сергій Shuvalov
A native of the village of Petrivka, Luhansk region. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he moved to Lviv with his family. In July 2024, he joined the 77th Separate Airmobile Naddniprianshchyna Brigade to defend the state. He served in the military in the Dnipro and Donetsk regions.
He died on 12 October 2024. The warrior was 46 years old.
🕯️Сергій Petchenko
Born in Panyutino, Kharkiv region. In 2015, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the 28th separate mechanised brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign.
In the first months of the full-scale invasion, he returned to the Armed Forces. He fought against the invaders as a member of the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. For his personal courage, he was awarded numerous decorations, including the Golden Cross and the Defender of the Fatherland medal. After being wounded and undergoing prosthetics, he and his family moved to Lviv. He died on 15 March. He was 42 years old.
