Today Lviv region says goodbye to five defenders

Every day at 9 o’clock, we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who died for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.

Lviv resident.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he fought in the 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the Tauride.

Vasyl Borysenko is survived by his mother and sisters.

🕯️ Mykhailo Boikov

A resident of Lviv.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he stood up to defend his homeland from the occupiers. After completing training in the UK, he performed combat missions in the east as part of the 225th separate territorial defense battalion of the 127th separate territorial defense brigade of the Regional Directorate “East” of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Mykhailo Boykov is survived by his mother, wife, 8-year-old son and sister.

🕯️ Viktor Fedis

Originally from the village of Nyzhni Hai, Drohobych district. The defender volunteered to defend the state. He died on January 18, 2024, while performing combat missions in the Zaporizhzhia sector of the front. He is survived by his wife, father, mother, sister and daughter.

🕯️ Volodymyr Savonik

A resident of the village of Ponykovytsia, Zolochiv district. The soldier was a staff sergeant, head of the radio station of an engineering company.

He died on December 14, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

The defender is survived by his parents.

🕯️ Mykhailo Fedyshyn

A resident of the village of Chervone, Zolochiv district. The warrior was a senior mechanic-driver of a mechanized company of a mechanized battalion of a military unit.

He died on January 20, 2024 near the village of Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region.

The defender is survived by his mother and grandmother.
