Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
🕯️ Vladyslav Sichevskyi
A resident of Sheptytske. He served under contract since 2021 and from the first days of the full-scale invasion performed combat missions at the frontline. He was a senior soldier of the 115th separate mechanised brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Unfortunately, the defender died while at home on holiday.
🕯️ Roman Savchynskyi
A resident of the village of Shehyni. Roman came to the defence of his homeland in April 2022. He participated in the battles for the settlements of Robotyne and Avdiivka, where he was wounded on 27 November 2023. Unfortunately, the soldier died.
🕯️ Viktor Chekh
A resident of the village of Sadky, Khodoriv community.
He was a senior soldier, an artillerist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He died on 9 March, 2025 near the village Sadky, Sumy region. The soldier was 48 years old.
🕯️ Marian Pencalskyi
Originally from the village of Demnia, Trostianets community.
He was called up for military service in July 2022. He performed combat missions in Krynky in the Kherson region, Maryinka, Pokrovsk. The soldier died in December 2024 near the village of Krasnoyarske, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. In March, the body of the defender was identified. The soldier was 33 years old.
🕯️ Ivan Tupychak
The defender was born in Boryslav, then moved to the village of Dovhe Hirske. In January 2025, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 95th separate air assault brigade. Unfortunately, the soldier was killed on 15 March near the village of Oleshnya, Suzhansky district, Kursk region, Russia.
