Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
🕯 Yevhen Kazantsev
Evacuated with his family to the Truskavets community from the eastern regions of Ukraine. He was the chief sergeant of the assault platoon of the military unit A4638. He died on 13 March 2024 during a combat mission near the village of Orlivka, Donetsk region. He was 20 years old.
🕯️ Vasyl Kombel
A resident of the village of Khlivchany, Belzka community, Sheptytskyi district. He died on 12 May during a combat mission near the village of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region.
🕯️ Mykola Sadovyi
Originally from the village of Mezhyrichchia, Zhydachiv community. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in September 2022. He was the junior sergeant, the head of the logistics platoon of the military unit A0342.
He died on 9 May near the village of Torske, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region. The soldier was 41 years old.
🕯️ Ivan Hladkyi
Originally from the village of Radelychi, Mykolaiv community, Stryi district. He received life-threatening injuries near the village of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region. The defender was 26 years old.
🕯️ Roman Trukhym
A resident of the village of Berezdivtsi in the Novorozdilska community. He has been defending the country since 2014. He was awarded numerous decorations. He was killed on 12 May during a combat mission as a result of an explosion on an unexploded ordnance and an FPV drone strike near Stepove, Zaporizhzhia region. The soldier was 46 years old.
