Every day at 9 o’clock, we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who have lost their lives for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.
Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:
🕯️ Anatoliy Fedkovych
A resident of the village of Hrebeniv, Skole community. He was a senior sergeant in one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed on 25 January during counter-offensive operations in the area of Robotino, Zaporizhzhia region.
🕯️ Bohdan Kozak
A resident of Lviv.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he stood up to defend his homeland from the occupiers. He performed combat missions in the Luhansk region as part of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of the Eastern Operational and Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Bohdan Kozak is survived by his mother and brother.
🕯️ Ihor Levytskyi
Born in the village of Bessarabka, Mykolaiv region. Later, Ihor Levytskyi’s family moved to Pidbirtsi, Lviv region.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the military unit A4838 to defend his homeland.
Ihor Levytskyi is survived by two sisters, a nephew and a niece.
🕯️ Bohdan Podibka
A resident of the village of Humenets, Shchyrets community. The soldier defended Ukraine in the eastern part of the country.
He died on 29 January 2024 during a small arms attack by enemy forces near the village of Mykolaivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.
🕯️ Yurii Tsiona
A resident of the village of Varyazh, Sokal community.
He was called up for military service on 29 March 2022, served as an inspector of the Border Guard Service – assistant grenade launcher of the military unit 9938.
He died on 28 January 2024 during a mortar attack near the village of Novoyehorivka, Svatove district, Luhansk region.
He is survived by his mother, wife, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brothers and sister.
🕯️ Taras Kots
A resident of the town of Radekhiv. The soldier was a grenade launcher of an infantry unit. He died on 28 January 2024 in the Kharkiv region.
