Today Lviv region says goodbye to six defenders
Ihor Voloshyn
A resident of the village of Byblos, Dobromyl community, Sambir district.
He was a senior soldier. He served as an inspector of the Border Guard Service of the military unit 1551. He died on 5 November near the village of Daryino, Kursk region.
Serhiy Artyshuk
A resident of the village of Toporiv, Zolochiv district. On 25 February, 2022, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He performed the duties of the driver-electrician of the department of unmanned aerial vehicles of the 103rd separate brigade of the territorial defence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He died on 4 November near the village of Pavlivka, Sumy region. The defender was 51 years old.
Volodymyr Dumka
A resident of Lviv.
He served in the 11th anti-aircraft missile brigade in Shepetivka, Khmelnytskyi region, and later in the 540th anti-aircraft missile regiment in Lviv named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade to defend his homeland. He performed combat missions in the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.
Dmytro Arseniev
Born in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Later, the family moved to Irshava, Zakarpattia region.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he joined the 24th King Danylo Mechanised Brigade, and later performed combat missions as part of the 116th Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The soldier died on 5 November.
Oleksandr Fedoriv
Born in Zbarazh, Ternopil region.
He studied at the Lviv Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training named after the Heroes of Kruty. He received his higher education first at the Military Academy in Odesa, and then at the National Army Academy named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi.
During 2014-2016, he performed combat missions in the anti-terrorist operation zone in the 42nd Battalion of the 57th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Kostiantyn Hordiienko.
Volodymyr Zarivnyi
A resident of the village of Kulychkiv in the Velykomostiv community of Sheptytskyi district. He was an inspector at the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
He died on 28 October near the village of
Synelnykove in the Kharkiv region while performing a combat mission.
