Today Lviv region says goodbye to six defenders
Danylo Bozhenko
He was born in the village of Duliby, Hrabovetska-Dulibivska community.
He was an officer, the commander of a tank platoon of a tank company of the 4th separate tank brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He came to the defence of his homeland on 17 March 2022. He liberated the Kherson region from occupation. He was awarded numerous decorations and promoted to the rank of lieutenant. He died on 13 June, 2023, near the village of Novodonetske, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region. The warrior was 24 years old.
Volodymyr Ivanets
A resident of Sheptytske.
He served in the military unit A 0224.
He died on 14 November near the village of Romanivka, Donetsk region.
Ivan Saletskyi
A native of the village of Pidkamin, Lviv region.
From the first months of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he volunteered to defend his homeland from the invaders. He defended the sovereignty and independence of the state in the ranks of the 125th separate territorial defence brigade. Later, he served as a member of the 540th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi Lviv Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The defender died on 15 November.
Nazariy Moskvytin
12.11.2024). A resident of Lviv.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend his homeland. He was defending the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine on the eastern frontline as a member of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade “Magura”. The soldier died on 12 November.
Fedir Surkov
A resident of Lviv.
From the first months of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend the state from the invaders. He performed combat missions in the ranks of the 125th Separate Brigade, and later served in the 540th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi Lviv Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The soldier died on 15 November.
Petro Ilkiv
A native of the village of Verkhniy Dorohiv, Medenytsia territorial community. Junior sergeant of a rifle platoon. He died on 6 November in hospital. The warrior was 54 years old.
