Today Lviv region says goodbye to six defenders

Every day at 9 o’clock, we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who have died for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.

Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:

🕯️ Mykhailo Nelepa

A resident of the village of Dobryany, Horodok community.

The soldier served in the military unit 9938 of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
He died at the age of 49 in a hospital in Vinnytsia from severe injuries.

🕯️ Ivan Sydir

A resident of the village of Zasadky, Khyriv community.

He was an infantry rifleman. He was born on August 19, 1991.

🕯️ Yuriy Nevelychuk

A resident of the village of Zymna Voda.

The soldier defended Ukraine from the enemy in the southeastern direction.

He died on March 08, 2024 near the village of Novoprokopivka, Polohiv district, Zaporizhzhia region at the age of 38.

🕯️ Andriy Bakun

A resident of the village of Monastyrok, Zolochiv district. The warrior was a senior pilot of a helicopter squadron. He died at the age of 26.

He is survived by his wife and child.

🕯️ Yuriy Lozynskyi

A resident of Lviv.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he stood up to defend his homeland as part of the 15th separate mountain assault Sevastopol battalion of the 128th separate mountain assault Transcarpathian brigade.

🕯️ Vitaliy Popov

A native of the village of Blahodatne, Volyn region.

A career military man, staff sergeant. He served in the 184th Training Center of the National Army Academy named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi as a technician of the automation department of the information and telecommunications center.
