Today Lviv Oblast says goodbye to six defenders

Every day at 9:00 a.m., we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who died, who gave their lives for Ukraine due to Russian aggression.

Today, Lviv Oblast says goodbye to defenders:

🕯️ Volodymyr Chekh

A resident of the village of Rodatichi, Horodotsk community.

The soldier was a grenade launcher of the 43rd separate mechanized brigade. Died on March 10, 2024, near the village of Ivanivka, Kupyan district, Kharkiv region, at the age of 25.

🕯️ Yaroslav Kuzma

A native of Skvaryava village of Zolochiv district. The soldier was the deputy commander of the combat vehicle of military unit A4123.

On June 21, 2023, he went missing while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Dibrova, Luhansk region. He was 48 years old.

🕯️ Vasyl Trokhymchuk

A resident of the village of Horbkiv, Sokal community. Was a shooter. He was called up for military service in the first days of the full-scale invasion. Died on March 13 while performing a combat mission near Nevelske settlement, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.

🕯️ Evgeny Reshetnyak

Odessa

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he stood up to protect the Motherland from the invaders. He underwent military training in Great Britain and was one of the translators, since he knew English well from an early age. He fought as part of the 81st separate airmobile Slobozhan brigade.

🕯️ Igor Pavlov

A native of the village of Luhove, Lviv Region.

After completing his studies, he completed his military service in the Black Sea Fleet, and in the late 1990s – in the ranks of border guards.

He first studied at the former police academy in the city of Rivne, and during the last period – at the Lychakiv Police Department of Lviv.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he stood up to protect the Motherland from the invaders. Performed combat missions in the eastern direction in the ranks of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo. For personal courage, he was awarded the medal “For the defense of Bakhmut”.

🕯️ Ivan Savka

A native of the village of Chulovichi, Lviv region.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great to defend the Motherland.
