Lviv region says goodbye to six defenders today
🕯️Андрій Dust
He is a resident of Nyzhni Hai village in the Drohobych community. After graduating from high school, he entered the Drohobych Oil and Gas College. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered to defend the state as part of the 1st Company of the 67th Battalion of the TRO. He died on 14 May 2024 near the village of Myasozharivka, Luhansk region. He was 48 years old.
🕯️Іван Kolodiychyk
He was born in Boryslav, Lviv region. He studied at the Boryslav Secondary School No. 4 named after Stefan Kovaliv. Later he entered the Lviv Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training named after the Heroes of Kruty. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he joined the Armed Forces. He fought as part of the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo of the operational command “West” of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He died on 27 May, 2022. He died at the age of 23.
🕯️Богдан Starch
A 23-year-old resident of Chervonohrad. He was a senior soldier, a mortar platoon gunner of the 33rd separate mechanised brigade. The soldier had been missing since February 2024. However, his family later received confirmation of his death in Donetsk region.
🕯️Володимир Datsyuk
He was born in Sokal. He served as a master of striking unmanned aerial vehicles of the unmanned systems battalion of the military unit A4447. He died on 12 May 2024 during a combat mission near the village of Pobeda, Donetsk region. He died at the age of 46.
🕯️Юрій Potrogosh
A resident of the town of Kamianka-Buzka. The soldier was a lieutenant colonel and commander of a military unit. He died on 16 May 2024 as a result of a rocket attack in the Kharkiv region. He died at the age of 38.
🕯️Богдан Matselukh
A native of the village of Staryi Yar, he later moved to Yavoriv. In August 2023, Bohdan was drafted into the army and joined the 14th Mechanised Brigade. He died on 10 May 2024 while performing a combat mission in the Kharkiv region.
