Lviv region says goodbye to seven defenders today
🕯️Андрій Trojan
A resident of the village of Verblyany, Zolochiv district. On 25 February, 2022, he was called up for military service. He fought in the 10th separate mountain assault brigade “Edelweiss” of the Armed Forces. He performed the duties of a grenade launcher assistant shooter.
He died near the village of Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. 3 On 9 January 2023, he was reported missing. He was 45 years old.
🕯️Станіслав The Hague
A resident of Stebnyk, Drohobych region. After graduation, he joined the army, where he was a senior sergeant. During the full-scale invasion, the soldier stood up to defend the state. He died on 27 May 2024 while performing a combat mission. He was 40 years old.
🕯️Ігор Rigus
He was born in the village of Ulychne, Drohobych district. He defended his homeland in the ranks of the anti-aircraft machine gun section of the rocket and artillery platoon of the airborne artillery unit A7391. He died on 25 May 2024 in a Kharkiv hospital at the age of 48.
🕯️Ігор Vasyliv
A resident of the city of Stryi. He defended the territorial integrity of the state as part of the 2nd mechanised battalion of the military unit A1008. He died on 24 May 2024 from enemy shelling near the village of Vilshana in the Kharkiv region. He was 37 years old.
🕯️Євген Zhdanov
A native of Starobilsk, Luhansk region. During 2016-2020, he was a participant in the ATO and JFO as part of the 54th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he returned to the Armed Forces. He defended the country as a member of the 111th separate territorial defence brigade of the East Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was the commander of an infantry platoon. He died on 28 May 2024 at the age of 33.
🕯️Андрій Galadium
A resident of the village of Novyi Mizun, Ivano-Frankivsk region. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he was trained as part of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In May 2023, he signed a voluntary contract with the 3rd Border Guard Detachment named after the Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevhen Pikus of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. He performed combat missions in the eastern direction. He died on 27 May 2024. He was 28 years old.
🕯️Руслан Drozdov
A native of Blahodatne village, Odesa region. During the full-scale invasion, he defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 214th separate special OPFOR battalion of the International Peacekeeping and Security Centre of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy. He performed combat missions in Donetsk region. He died on 23 May 2024 at the age of 38.
