Today Lviv region says goodbye to three defenders
Yevhen Balaban
A resident of the village of Bortiatyn, Sudovovyshnia community. He was a senior soldier, senior rifleman of the military unit A4355. He was called up for military service on 13 June, 2024. He died during a combat mission near the village of Bohoyavlenka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.
Oleh Popravka
Born in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro region. In 2020, he entered the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy and studied at the Faculty of Missile Forces and Artillery.
With the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he joined the 28th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign to defend Ukraine from the invaders. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk region.
Oleksandr Vetyuhov
A resident of Horodok, Lviv district. The warrior was a senior soldier. He served in the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. He died on 18 September in Donetsk region. The warrior was 53 years old.
