Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
🕯️Володимир Zaitsev
Originally from Truskavets. He lived in the town of Stebnyk, Drohobych district. He held the position of senior rifleman-operator of the specialised rifle company ‘Shkval’. He died on 20 February during a combat mission near the village of Zhuravka, Sumy region. The soldier was 36 years old.
🕯️ Stepan Kernitskyi
A resident of Lviv. He came to the defence of Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. At first, he served in a security company, then performed combat missions in the Donetsk and Kherson regions in the ranks of the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. Later, he fought against the invaders as a member of the 42nd separate mechanised brigade. He died on 17 February. He was 44 years old.
🕯Jaroslav Pelekh
A resident of the village of Zhvyrka, Sokal community. He served as an inspector of the border guard service of the military unit 9937. He died on 15 February during a combat mission near the village of Stroyivka, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region. He was 40 years old.
