Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders
🕯Volodymyr Chaplyk
A resident of Zhvyrka village, Sokal community. He served as the commander of the communication department of the 3rd mechanised battalion of the military unit A4699. He died on 23 February during a combat mission near the village of Oleshnya, Suzhansky district, Kursk region, Russia. He was 50 years old.
🕯️ Valentyn Voloshyn
A native of Lviv. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the 7th Carpathian border guard detachment to defend his homeland. He died on 7 February. The soldier was 53 years old.
🕯️ Andrii Chernov
A native of Rodynske, Donetsk region. After the start of the full-scale invasion, Andriy’s family moved to Lviv. The soldier joined the 151st separate mechanised brigade. He performed combat missions in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
He died on 20 February. He was 28 years old.
