Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
🕯️Ігор Kataman
Originally from Slavsk. Junior sergeant, platoon leader of the military unit 2847. He died on 23 April during a combat mission near the village of Novomykolaivka, Sumy region. He was 29 years old.
🕯️ Vitaliy Ostapchuk
A resident of the village Pidhorodyshche of the Bibrska community. He was a soldier of the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Separate Presidential Regiment (military unit A0222). He died on 1 May in Donetsk region.
🕯️ Yuriy Tokarev
A native of the village of Tavilzhanka, Kharkiv region. In 2021, he moved to Lviv. Here, in the first months of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the 138th Training Battalion of the Logistics Support Unit to defend the state.
Subsequently, he performed combat missions in the eastern part of the frontline as part of the 154th separate mechanised brigade. During the last period, he served in the 144th separate mechanised brigade. He died on 19 May 2024. The warrior was 35 years old.
