Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
🕯 Oleksandr Vyshnevskyi

A resident of the city of Przemyslany.
The soldier stood up to defend Ukraine from the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
He was killed in April 2022 near the village of Pisky, Donetsk region, and has been missing since then. He was 47 years old.
🕯️ Kostiantyn Mytoshop

A native of Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad region. Later he moved to Lviv with his wife. On the first day of the full-scale invasion, 24 February 2022, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a reconnaissance diver, and later received training as a UAV operator. He performed combat missions in the Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk directions in the ranks of the 141st separate mechanised brigade. He was at the front for 4 years. He died on 2 May.
🕯️ Fedir Kostykin

Born in Kazakhstan. The family moved to Ukraine in 1996. They lived in the city of Vysunsk, Bereznehuvata district, Mykolaiv region.
In 2014, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the Marines as a sniper. Later, he was transferred to the 142nd Separate Mechanised Brigade. He took part in combat operations in Irpin, Gostomel and other places. The soldier’s life ended tragically and prematurely on 14 May in the Kyiv region.
The soldier will be buried in the Novoyavoriv community.
🕯️ Ruslan Pauk

Resident of the village of Hirske, Mykolaiv community, Stryi district. He performed combat missions near Popasna, Luhansk region. He had been missing since March 2022.
In May 2025, his body was identified.
