Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders
🕯️ Volodymyr Vovk
A resident of the village of Chishky, Davydivka community.
He took part in the anti-terrorist operation. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he defended Ukraine in the eastern direction.
He died on 9 February near the village of Hromova Balka, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region. The soldier was 52 years old.
🕯️ Yurii Kupchak
Originally from Sambir. He was a senior soldier, a sniper of the mechanised battalion of the 155th separate mechanised brigade. He died on 30 January near the village of Kotlyne, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region.
🕯️ Yuriy Stets
A resident of Lviv.
After graduation, he served in the ranks of the communications troops in Zhytomyr region.
After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he defended his homeland from the Russian invaders as part of the 5th separate heavy mechanised brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He performed combat missions in Donetsk region. The defender died on 5 February.
🕯️ Mykhailo Losyk
A native of Mykhailovychi village, Lviv region.
After the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the 5th Separate Heavy Mechanised Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his homeland from the invaders.
🕯️ Ihor Berezhnov
A resident of Sheptytske. Sergeant of the reserve company of the military unit A7014. The defender died on 10 February in Kramatorsk.
🕯️ Andriy Glushchenko
A resident of Mykolaiv.
He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in July 2022. In November 2024, during hostilities in the village of Toretsk, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, the serviceman went missing. Later, after being wounded, he was evacuated and sent for treatment. The defender died on 11 February. He was 46 years old.
🕯️ Mykola Bezpalko
A resident of Zolochiv. He was a mechanic-driver of the evacuation company of the repair and restoration battalion of the military unit A5001.
He died on 24 January while performing a combat mission in positions near the village of Kotlyne, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. The defender was 41 years old.
🕯️ Sviatoslav Osnova
A resident of the village of Ushnya, Zolochiv district. He was a junior inspector of the Border Guard Service, a cook of the catering department of the second department of the Border Guard Service of the second border commandant’s office of rapid response of the first border detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
He died on 8 February 2025 during a combat mission near the village of Rybalkine, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region. The defender was 42 years old.
