Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
Vasyl Yakobshy

A resident of the village of Dmytrze, Shchyrets community. He served in the military unit A3113 of the National Guard of Ukraine. From January 2025, he served in the military unit 3002. He died suddenly on 13 March. He was 24 years old.
Oleksandr Veselovskyi

A native of the village of Petrychi, Zolochiv district. After the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he came to the defence of his homeland as part of the 81st separate airmobile Slobozhanska brigade. He fought against the invaders in the Luhansk region. He died on 1 March. The soldier was 29 years old.
Andrii Shaposhnikov

A native of Zaporizhzhia. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he moved to Lviv. In 2024, he joined the 155th separate mechanised brigade named after Anna Kyivska. He died on 8 March. He was 48 years old.
Stepan Levytskyi

A resident of the village of Zapytiv in the Novoyarichivska Hromada. The soldier defended Ukraine in the southern direction. He died on 23 November 2023 in the village of Krynky, Kherson region, and has been missing since then. He was 34 years old.
