Every day at 9 o’clock, we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who died for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.

Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:

🕯️ Yaroslav Oblonenko

Yaroslav Oblonenko was born and lived in the city of Stryi. He was a soldier, a rifleman of the 1st Infantry Battalion. He died on March 17 during a combat mission from a mortar attack near the village of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.

🕯️ Taras Oprysk

A native of the village of Hirske, Mykolaiv community. He was a soldier, a reconnaissance gunner of the military unit A4056. He died on March 16, performing a combat mission near the village of Tverdokhlibove in Luhansk region.

🕯️ Pavlo Linkevych (call sign “Freeman”)

A resident of Zhovkva. The soldier served in the military unit T0910, defending Ukraine in the east.
He died on March 2, 2024 in the Bakhmut direction at the age of 37.

🕯️ Vitaliy Dereiko

A resident of Brody, Zolochiv district. He was a sniper rifleman of the airborne assault division of an airborne assault platoon.

Valentyn Korol.

He died on September 10, 2023, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region. The defender was 44 years old.

A resident of the city of Chervonohrad. He served in the military unit A7075. He died on March 13 in Donetsk region.

🕯️ Vadym Sukhorukov

A resident of the city Chervonohrad. He served in the military unit A 0284. He died on March 15 in Donetsk region. He was 25 years old.

🕯️ Pavlo Petsyukh

He was born in the city of Selydove, Donetsk region. He lived in Novoyavorivsk. From 2000 to 2002, he served in the army. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he was called up for military service in the Armed Forces. He died on March 16 in the Luhansk region.
