Today, the Lviv region bids farewell to one of its fallen defenders — Bohdan Shchudlyk, a resident of Rykhtychi village in the Drohobych community, who gave his life defending Ukraine.
Since July 2023, Bohdan served in the mechanized battalion of military unit A4447, where he held the position of rifleman-medic, assisting his comrades in the field under dangerous combat conditions.
On October 28, 2023, during a combat mission near the settlement of Robotyne in the Polohy district of Zaporizhzhia region, Bohdan was killed. He was initially listed as missing in action. He was only 36 years old.
Each day at 9:00 AM, the nationwide minute of silence honors the memory of all those who have perished defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.
