Today, Lviv region says farewell to two defenders

A resident of Lviv.

He served in the Hetman Petro Sahaidachny National Army Academy, where he held officer and leadership positions.

With the start of the full-scale invasion by the Russian occupiers, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He carried out combat missions in the North Slobozhanskyi direction as part of the 22nd Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion “Kratos.” He was awarded the distinction of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine “Defender of Ukraine,” the honorary badge of the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “For Service,” the badge “Land Forces of Ukraine,” and the medal “Veteran of War.” The warrior passed away on April 4.

A resident of Truskavets. He was a chief sergeant, commander of a section of an anti-aircraft missile platoon. He joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in March 2022. Sadly, the defender passed away on April 6 in the city of Zaporizhzhia. He was 47 years old.
