Today, Lviv Oblast says goodbye to defenders:
🕯️Ihor Obodiak
A resident of Horodok. Defended Ukraine in the southern direction.
Died on December 20, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Defender is survived by his mother, sister, wife and five children.
🕯️Roman Bazhan
A native of Lviv. From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he volunteered to join the ranks of the “Lion” territorial defense battalion. In the future, he defended the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state as part of the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Died on December 15, 2023. The defender was 37 years old. He is survived by his parents, wife and two sons.
🕯️ Nazar Kots
A native of Novy Vytkiv village, Chervonograd district. He was a senior soldier, EW operator of military unit A 4447. He died on December 22, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia region. The defender was 43 years old.
🕯️ Mykola Pie
A native of the city of Sosnivka, Lviv region. Lived in Chervonograd. With the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion, he stood up to protect the Motherland from the invaders. Defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the state as part of the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Died while performing a combat mission in the Zaporozhye direction. The soldier was 36 years old. He is survived by his parents and brothers.
🕯️ Volodymyr Vasylikov
Drohobychanin He joined the ranks of defenders on September 6, 2023. Defended Ukraine as part of a separate machine gun unit of the 214th separate special battalion OPFOR military unit A-4574 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Died on December 23, 2023 as a result of an attack by enemy drones in the direction of Bakhmut. The defender is survived by a sister and nephews.
🕯️ Petro Romanus
A resident of the village of Lypnyk of the Rava-Ruska community. The soldier was an operator of the information processing group 1 of the communication platoon of the communication company of the main command post of the field communication node of military unit A2943. He died on December 26, 2023 in Lviv. The defender is survived by a daughter.
🕯️Yugen Makalo
A native of the village of Stary Yar. Lived in the village of Shklo. He left to defend the Motherland in January 2023. Died on December 22, 2023 in Donetsk region. The soldier was 27 years old. He is survived by his daughter, mother, father, brother and sisters.
