🕯️ Oleksandr Shemet
A native of Koryukivka, Chernihiv region. Hero of Ukraine. He lived most of his life in the Lviv region, where he served in the military and participated in peacekeeping missions on numerous occasions. He took part in the Anti-Terrorist Operation and the Joint Forces Operation. With the start of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, he took part in the defence of Kyiv. Later, he fought in the Donetsk, Luhansk and South Slobozhanskyi directions as part of the 12th Separate Brigade of Army Aviation named after General Viktor Pavlenko.
For personal courage and heroism in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, he was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine and presented with the Order of the Golden Star. He was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III degree, the Order of Danylo Halytskyi and the Cossack Cross badge.
🕯️ Mykola Gural
A resident of the village of Volove, Bibrsk community. He served as a grenadier in the 1st assault platoon of the 3rd assault squad of the 6th assault company of the 2nd assault battalion of the 82nd separate assault brigade of Bukovina. He died on 29 January in the southern direction.
🕯️ Roman Shah
A resident of the village of Lopatyn in the Sheptytskyi district. He served in the Luhansk Border Guard Detachment named after Hero of Ukraine Yevhen Pikus. For conscientious performance of his duties, he was awarded a commendation and distinctions for excellent service.
🕯️ Roman Zadorozhny
A resident of the village of Hordynia, Novokalynivska community, Sambir district. He served in military unit A4056 as a grenadier in the 3rd Jäger platoon of the 1st Jäger company of the 5th Jäger battalion of the 2nd Jäger battalion. The soldier died on 1 November 2024 near the village of Selidove, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region.
🕯️ Roman Korpalo
A resident of the village of Dmytrovychi in the Davydivska community. He served in military unit A1619. From 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation. With the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was considered missing in action. He died on 10 June 2024 near the village of Krasnohorivka, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region.
🕯️ Rostislav Krip
A resident of the village of Volia-Vysotska in the Zhovkivska community. He served in military unit A5002. He died on 7 February while performing a combat mission near the village of Andriivka in the Sumy region.
🕯️ Stepan Prystyak
A resident of the village of Zimna Voda. He defended Ukraine from Russian occupiers for a long time. The defender’s heart stopped on 14 February in hospital.
🕯️ Mykola Hnatiuk
A resident of the village of Soroky-Lvivski in the Murovanska community. He served in military unit A4149. The defender’s heart stopped on 16 February in hospital.
