Today, the Lviv region says goodbye to four defenders

Every day at 9 a.m. there is a national minute of silence. Stop, wherever you are, and honor the bright memory of all those who died for Ukraine due to Russian aggression.

🕯️ Volodymyr Borysovsky

A native of the village of Berezyna, Novorozdilskyi community, Stryi district. In February 2022, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was an assistant rifleman-grenade launcher of the rifle department of the rifle platoon of the rifle company of the rifle battalion of the A1619 military unit. He was considered missing. Only now has it been possible to officially confirm the death of the Defender. He died in November 2024 while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Pushkinske, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.

🕯️ Andriy Gabinet

Resident of the city of Radekhiv. Rifleman, service number of the 1st airborne assault detachment of the 1st airborne assault platoon of the 11th airborne assault company of the 3rd airborne assault battalion. Until September 29, 2025, the serviceman was considered missing. It became known that the Hero died on March 13 while performing a combat mission in the Kursk region (Russia).

🕯️ Oleg Voloshynskyi

A resident of Lviv. For 27 years – a military man. He was a participant in the ATO. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he stood up for the defense of the Motherland. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the eastern direction as part of military unit A3321. Awarded the medal “Veteran of War”, the cross “Military Honor” of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the distinction of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine “Veteran of Service”.

🕯️ Andriy Yarmolenko

A native of the city of Kamyanka, Zaporizhia region.

In 2024, he stood up to defend the Motherland from the invasion of Russian invaders. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the North-Slobozhansk and Donetsk directions as part of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
