He was a sergeant, senior rifleman-flamethrower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He died on August 26 while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Shandryholove in the Donetsk region. The soldier was 47 years old.

Resident of the village of Slokhyn, Khyriv commune, Sambir district. He was a senior sergeant, service number of the 1st mortar platoon of the mortar battery of the motorized infantry battalion of military unit A0536. He died in the Donetsk direction.

🕯️ Volodymyr Barytskyi
Resident of Lishna Drohobych community. In 2014, Volodymyr performed combat missions in the ATO zone, defended the eastern territories of Ukraine for three years until March 2017. After the full-scale invasion of the enemy, in 2022, he again voluntarily joined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine. He was a senior soldier, a grenade launcher of the airmobile detachment of the military unit A0224. Unfortunately, while performing a combat mission in the Pokrovsky direction, on November 28, 2024, the soldier died. For a long time he was considered missing. Only now has the body of the fallen defender been identified and returned home.

A native of Lviv.
He worked as an actor at the Lviv Academic Theater named after Les Kurbas, as well as at the Lviv Academic Theater of Variety Miniatures “Both People and Dolls”.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers, he stood up for the defense of the Motherland. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the South-Slobozhansky, Zaporizhzhia, North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions as part of the 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade named after Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky. Later – as part of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Galician Brigade.
He was awarded the medals of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine “Golden Cross” and “Together for Victory”, the medal “War Veteran”, as well as the breastplate “Participant in hostilities”.

A native of the village of Zavadiv, Yavoriv district, Lviv region.
He served in the military service.
He worked as a mechanic-mechanic at the Private Enterprise “Mist”. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers, he defended the Motherland. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction as part of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade.
