🕯️ Marian Mykytyn
Originally from Stebnyk, Drohobych District.
He joined the defence of the country in May 2023. Served as a Junior Sergeant of the 2nd Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Platoon, 1st Mechanised Battalion of Military Unit A0998.
He was killed on 26 April 2025 near the village of Virolubivka, Donetsk Region. Since then, the soldier had been considered missing in action.
🕯️ Bohdan Vasiuta
Resident of the town of Brody, Zolochiv District. Served as a machine gunner.
He sustained a severe injury and died in hospital on 17 October 2025. The defender was 36 years old.
🕯️ Andrii Borsuk
Born in Drohobych, Lviv Region.
At the onset of the full-scale invasion, he took up arms to defend his homeland. He carried out combat missions in the Donetsk direction as part of the 45th Operational Regiment named after Oleksandr Krasitskyi of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The defender passed away on 13 October.
🕯️ Oleksandr Zaika
Native of the village of Krutky, Zolotonosha District, Cherkasy Region.
After completing secondary school, he entered a military higher education institution specialising in technical training — the Poltava Military Institute of Communications. During his service, he rose through the ranks from platoon communications commander to Chief of Staff — Deputy Commander of the Support Battalion of Military Unit A2166.
In 2025, he defended Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty on the Northern-Slobozhanskyi front as part of the 105th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade of the Territorial Defence Forces.
He was awarded distinctions by the Minister of Defence of Ukraine and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
🕯️ Nazar Fliak
Resident of the village of Vaniovychi, Sambir community.
He served as a driver of the engineering-position section of the engineering-sapper company, 125th Separate Heavy Mechanised Brigade.
He was killed on 13 October near the village of Kochetok, Kharkiv Region.
