🕯️Roman Kotsko

A resident of Sheptytskyi. He served as a sapper in the engineering barrier unit. He was killed on 6 August near the village of Oleksandro-Kalinove in the Donetsk region. He was 23 years old.
🕯️Roman Medvid

He was born in Drohobych and lived in Stryi. In 2021, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From the beginning of the full-scale war, he defended Ukraine on the hottest spots of the front line. He was a camouflager in the 1st simulation unit of the 3rd engineering and camouflage platoon of a military unit. He died on 11 August on the territory of the military unit. The soldier was 38 years old.
🕯️Ivan Malisevich

A native of Skole, he participated in the Revolution of Dignity and later defended Ukraine in the east as part of the Right Sector volunteer battalion. He fought in the epicentre of the fighting in Pisky, close to Donetsk airport. It was there, in one of the battles on 29 December 2014, that he was wounded. He died on 14 August.
🕯️Yuriy Tomashik

A native of Lviv, he stood up to defend his homeland when the full-scale invasion began. He served in the combined rifle brigade of the Patrol Police Department “Khizhak.” He was awarded the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine’s “For Courage in Service” medal, the President of Ukraine’s “For the Defence of Ukraine” medal, the National Police of Ukraine’s “10 Years of Conscientious Service” medal, and the “Honorary Donor of Ukraine” medal. He died on 14 August. He was 35 years old.
🕯️Bogdan Shchupak

A resident of the village of Zhulin, Stryi community. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in March 2023. He was seriously wounded in April 2024 and demobilised. He died of heart failure on 14 August. He was 38 years old.
