Today, Lviv region bids farewell to three defenders

Resident of the village of Volia Vysotska, Zhovkivska community, Lviv district.

The soldier defended Ukraine from the start of the full-scale invasion as part of the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. Unfortunately, he was killed on 15 August in the Zaporizhzhia region while performing a combat mission. He was 27 years old.

A resident of the village of Ilkovychi, Sheptytskyi district.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend his homeland. He served as a mechanic-driver of a self-propelled artillery platoon in military unit A-3085.

During his service, he received numerous commendations and awards, and was also awarded the Golden Cross medal by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Unfortunately, on 13 August, he was killed while performing a combat mission near the town of Rubizhne in the Kharkiv region.

A resident of Sosnivka, Sheptytskyi district. He was an inspector of the border guard service – assistant to the grenadier of the 3rd border guard detachment named after Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevhen Pikus.

Since May 2024, Mykola had been considered missing in action. Unfortunately, his death was confirmed near the village of Kalynivka in the Donetsk region.

Eternal honour and glory to all fallen soldiers. Condolences to their families.
