Today, Lviv region says goodbye to three defenders

🕯️ Stepan Pavuk

Native from Novoyavorivsk, Yavoriv district.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Serhiy was a member of the volunteer formation of the Novoyavorivsk territorial community. In June 2024, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 12th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov”. He was a senior soldier. Unfortunately, he died in the Donetsk direction on September 29 while performing a combat mission.

🕯️ Ivan Shumylo

Native from the village of Novoshyn, Zhuravne community, Stryi district. In 2023, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He performed combat missions as part of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo in the Pokrovsky direction of the Donetsk region. In March 2024, he was wounded, and after treatment he returned to the front line. He was awarded the distinction “Combat Infantryman”. He was a sergeant, a machine gunner of the 1st machine gun detachment of the machine gun platoon of the 2nd rifle battalion of military unit A1736. Unfortunately, due to injuries, his heart stopped on October 10. The soldier was 42 years old.

🕯️ Mykhailo Maksymiv

A native of the village of Zvenyhorod, Lviv region. In 2024, he defended the Motherland from the invasion of Russian invaders. Defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction as part of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo. The defender passed away on August 24.
