Every day at 9 o’clock, we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who have lost their lives for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.
Today, Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:
🕯️ Roman Kits
A resident of the village of Lypnyky, Solonkivska community. The warrior was the deputy commander of a fire company for weapons of the military unit A1778.
He died on 7 February during hostilities in the village of Rivnopil, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region, at the age of 45.
🕯️ Vasyl Pidhirnyi
A resident of Zolochiv, Zolochiv district. In 2016, he joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces under contract. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he again stood up to defend his homeland. The warrior was a sergeant, an instructor of a training platoon of a training company for training logistics specialists of a military unit.
He died on 12 February 2024 during a combat mission near the village of Ivanivske, Donetsk region.
🕯️ Andrii Krulikevych
A native of the village of Baranivtsi, Lviv region. He was a senior soldier. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended the state in the ranks of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of Polissya. He fought on the southern and eastern directions.
🕯️ Hryhorii Kashtanov
A defender from the town of Yavoriv. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2023. He served in the 33rd separate mechanised brigade. He fought in the Donetsk sector. He died of a wound he received on the night of 9 February from mortar and artillery fire.
🕯️ Nazariy Dutkevych
A resident of the village of Smorzhiv, Lopatyn village territorial community, Chervonohrad district. He served in the military unit A4447. He died near the village of Pobeda, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.
