Lviv region says goodbye to five defenders today

Every day at 9 o’clock, we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who have lost their lives for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.

Today, Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:

🕯️ Bohdan Luka

A resident of the village of Zvenyhorod, Davydiv community. The warrior was a sapper in the 68th separate hunting brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, 420th battalion of the engineering platoon. He died in the Kharkiv region.

🕯️ Roman Bobryk

A resident of the village of Skhidnytsia, Drohobych district. Died on 17 January 2023 in the Donetsk sector.

🕯️ Bohdan Koval

Originally from Drohobych. He volunteered from the first days of the full-scale invasion. He served in the 67th Battalion of the 103rd Brigade of the TRO and performed combat missions to defend Ukraine at the frontline. On 24 January 2024, Bohdan was seriously injured near the village of Tabaivka, Kharkiv region. As a result of his injuries, he died in a Kyiv hospital on 11 February 2024.

🕯️ Mykhailo Lesiv

Originally from the village of Kamianka, Skole community. He was a captain, commander of a mechanised company of the military unit AO 222. He died on 9 February near the village of Avdiivka.

🕯️ Rostyslav Basaraba

A resident of the village of Krasne, Zolochiv district. The warrior was a senior rifleman of the 2nd machine gun section of the machine gun platoon of the military unit A4809.

He died on 10 February 2024 as a result of small arms fire near the village of Bohdanivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.
