Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders
🕯️ Yuriy Savchenko

Originally from Mykolaiv, Stryi district, he lived in the village of Demnia, Trostianets community.
He was a junior sergeant, an instructor of a training mechanised platoon of the military unit A1048. He died on 26 March as a result of acute cardiopulmonary insufficiency. The soldier was 54 years old.
🕯️ Taras Pryimak

Taras was born in Stryi, lived in the village of Slobidka, Stryi community, and later in Drohobych. He was a junior sergeant, the commander of the motorised infantry battalion of the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. He died on 26 March during a defensive battle near Chasovyi Yar, Donetsk region. The soldier was 40 years old.
🕯️ Andrii Prus

A resident of the village of Chyshky, Davydiv community, Lviv district.
He was a senior soldier of the military unit A 4056. He died on 15 May, 2024, during a combat mission near the village of Umanske, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. Since then, he was considered missing. The soldier was 47 years old.
🕯️ Yaroslav Haiduk

A native of the village of Maziv, Hlynyanska community, Lviv district.
The soldier served in the 3rd border guard detachment named after the Hero of Ukraine Yevhen Pikus. He was a soldier of the Border Guard Service of the 2nd category, a machine gunner.
He died on 4 April, 2024 near the village of Bohdanivka, Donetsk region. He was 41 years old.
🕯️ Georgiy Denisov-Tovt

A resident of Lviv. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the 68th separate hunting brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush of the operational command “West” to defend his homeland from Russian invaders.
🕯️ Mykola Kostyshyn

Born in Boryslav, Drohobych district.
He came to the defence of Ukraine in September 2024. He served in the First Separate Rifle Battalion. On 22 March, he was killed near the village of Nove, Donetsk region, during the fighting.
🕯️ Pavlo Bovtsailo

A resident of the village of Silets, Dobrotvir community, Sheptytskyi district. He was the shooter-assistant of the grenade launcher of the mechanised division of the mechanised battalion of the military unit A4594. He died on 19 March in the Donetsk region.
