Lviv Region Honors the Memory of Fallen Heroes of Ukraine

Every day at 9:00 AM, Ukraine observes a moment of silence to honor the memory of all those who gave their lives defending the nation from Russian aggression.

Today, Lviv Region bids farewell to its defenders:

  • 🕯️ Roman Zhukivskyi
    A resident of Bibrka, he served as a senior rifleman-operator in the mechanized battalion of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He was killed on December 29 in the Zaporizhzhia direction at the age of 45.
  • 🕯️ Roman Budylyuk
    A resident of Brody in the Zolochiv District, he was a rifleman and grenade launcher assistant in the motorized infantry battalion. He fell in a firefight on January 1 near the village of Pershotravneve in the Kharkiv Region at the age of 34.
  • 🕯️ Ihor Maskal
    A resident of the Sudova Vyshnia community in the Yavoriv District, he commanded a machine gun platoon in a specialized battalion. He was killed on January 1 near Novoyehorivka in the Svatove District of the Luhansk Region.
  • 🕯️ Oleksandr Zolototrubov
    A Lviv native, he joined the 108th Separate Mechanized Battalion “Da Vinci Wolves” of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. He carried out combat missions in the Donetsk direction.
