Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
🕯️Василь Matyukhin
A native of the village of Vyshnia, Rudkivska Hromada. He lived in the village Hradivka, Horodok community. He was a sailor of the 38th separate marine brigade. He died on 3 October near the village of Mykolayivka, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. The soldier was 31 years old.
🕯️Андрій Tabinsky
A resident of Busk, Zolochiv district. He took part in combat operations in the ATO/JFO area. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended Ukraine as a member of the 116th separate mechanised brigade. He died on 30 January during treatment at the Dnipro Military Medical Clinical Centre. The soldier was 36 years old.
🕯️Ігор Kostyk
A resident of Leshniv village, Zolochiv district. He was a rifleman assistant to a grenade launcher of an infantry company. He died in a medical facility on 30 January. The defender was 44 years old.
🕯️Володимир Savchyn
A resident of the village of Velykosilky in the Novoyarichivska community. He was a volunteer of the 14th assault brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Chervona Kalyna”. He died on 2 February as a result of injuries in the Pokrovske direction. He was 52 years old.
🕯️Любомир Koval
Originally from the village of Zapytiv, Novoyarichivska community. He served in the 33rd separate mechanised brigade. He died on 2 February during a combat mission in Kurakhove, Donetsk region. He was 35 years old.
🕯️Степан Dyneca
A resident of the village of Tetevchytsi, Radekhiv community. He was a rifleman-sergeant of the 1st Ranger Battalion. He died on 9 June while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk region. He was 53 years old.
🕯️Сергій Długosz
A native of the village of Verkhnia Bilka, Pidberiztsi community. He defended his homeland from February 2023 as part of the 33rd separate mechanised brigade. He died on 3 February during treatment. The soldier was 35 years old.
🕯️Олег Ogonovskyi
A resident of Lviv. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the 77th separate airmobile Naddniprianshchyna brigade to defend his homeland from the invaders. He was killed on 27 January. He was 36 years old.
🕯️Олег Khomytskyi
A resident of Lviv. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered to defend his homeland as part of the 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the Tauride. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk sector. He was awarded the insignia of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Minister of Defence of Ukraine. He died on 31 January. He was 34 years old.
🕯️Микола Dementiev
He lived in the Dobrotvir community of Sheptytskyi district. He was a senior soldier. He died on 30 November 2023 near the village of Vodiane, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. He was 49 years old.
🕯️Володимир Beley
Born in Mykolaiv, Lviv region, lived in Drohobych. He served in the 155th separate mechanised brigade. He died on 3 February while undergoing long-term treatment and rehabilitation after a serious injury. He was 53 years old.
