Today in Lviv Oblast they are saying goodbye to eight soldiers who died in the fight against the Russian occupier

Every day at 9:00 a.m., we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who died, who gave their lives for Ukraine due to Russian aggression.

Today in Lviv Oblast they are saying goodbye to defenders:

Oleg Khristenko
Oleg Khristenko (October 19, 2001-June 7, 2023) from Lviv.

 

A native of Lviv. From the beginning of the Russian invasion, he went to the capital and joined the ranks of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (former separate special purpose regiment “Azov”). At first, he performed combat missions in the Kyiv region, later he defended the country in the southern and eastern directions.

Despite the serious injury received in the battles, he returned to the front to his comrades. The soldier is survived by his mother, stepfather, fiancée, grandparents, half-brother, uncle and nephews.

 

Andriy Tymoshenko
Andriy Tymoshenko (September 24, 1976-June 10, 2023) from Lviv.

 

A native of Lviv. During 2015-2016, he performed combat missions in the area of the anti-terrorist operation as part of the 2nd separate Galician brigade of the Western operational-territorial unit of the National Guard of Ukraine. From the beginning of the war, he joined the ranks of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo of the “West” operational command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The soldier is survived by his mother, wife, daughter, niece and brother-in-law.

 

Volodymyr Yakivtsiv
Volodymyr Yakivtsiv (April 14, 1965-June 13, 2023) from Lviv.

 

A native of Lviv. From the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the “West” regional administration of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For his significant personal contribution to strengthening the state’s defense capabilities, he was awarded the “Badge of Honor” badge of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The soldier is survived by his wife, daughter and sister with their family.

 

Oleg Klyufas

 

A resident of the city of Mostyska. He was a senior gunner of a mortar platoon. He was noted for his high personal responsibility for the task entrusted to him.

 

Ivan Nebeshchanskyi

 

A resident of the village of Voyutichy. He was a senior rifleman-operator of the 3rd rifle division of the 1st rifle platoon of the 2nd rifle company of military unit A4821. Died on June 9, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region.

 

Stepan Khrushchak

 

A resident of the village of Zabolottya, Belz community. Served in military unit A7075. Died on June 10, 2023 while performing a combat mission as a result of a mine-explosive injury. The soldier is survived by his parents, brother, relatives and loved ones.

Igor Baran

 

Resident of the village Grits He was called up for military service on March 23, 2022, and served for more than a year as a senior gunner of a mortar platoon of a mortar battery of Military Unit A-7075. Died on June 13, 2023 near the village of Kolisnikivka, Kharkiv region.

 

Ihor Myron

 

A resident of the village of Tuchne, Peremyshlyan community.

From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended Ukraine. A sniper’s bullet caught up with a soldier in the Serebrian forest, near the village of the same name, on the border of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

The soldier is survived by his grandmother, father, mother and sister.
