Today in Radekhiv, a commemoration will take place for a fallen Defender of Ukraine.
The cortege with the body of Volodymyr Mykhailovych Zgursky will arrive on May 24, 2025, at 15:00. Residents of Radekhiv are requested to gather at the Heaven’s Hundred memorial and along Lvivska Street to the Symbolic Grave of Fighters for Ukraine’s Freedom, the announcement reads. The town’s residents will form a living corridor to pay respect and honorably escort the Defender on his final journey to his home village of Stanyn.
The funeral service will be held on May 25, 2025, at 14:30 in the village of Stanyn. The memory of the Hero is eternal! Heroes do not die!
