Today, 24-year-old Hero Cherniy Volodymyr Vasylovych returns to his native community.
The mournful cortege will be met in Sheptytske at around 16:00. “Immediately after meeting the Hero, a Requiem Service will begin at St. Yuriy’s Church,” organizers report. On Thursday, November 20, at 11:00, the cortege will depart from St. Yuriy’s Church to the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in the village of Volsvyn. There, a funeral ceremony will take place, and the Warrior will be buried in the Alley of Heroes at the village cemetery.
We ask the community to meet our Hero and honor him on his final journey, as he gave the most precious thing – his own life for our independence and for each of us.
