Sokal district met the Hero!
Today, on 26 June, residents of Sokal met the body of the fallen Hero Volodymyr Ivanovych Bodnarchuk.
The community gathered at 15 o’clock near the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Sokal.
Then the funeral cortege headed to his home in the village of Telyazh, where a parastas will be held immediately.
The burial will take place on Friday, 27 June at 13 o’clock.
On 27 May, 2025, a soldier Volodymyr Ivanovych BODNARCHUK, born on 24.12.1971, a resident of the village Telyazh, Donetsk region, died near the village Stinki, Donetsk region.
Volodymyr Ivanovych served as a chemist of the platoon of radiation, chemical, biological defence of the military unit A0998, he was killed during two attacks by enemy FPV drones on the area of the personnel’s location.
