Today, 50-year-old defender Roman Savytskyi said goodbye in Nadvirna

Today, the residents of the Nadvirna community have laid to rest a soldier-defender – Roman Savytskyi, born on 01.04.1975, a resident of the village of Strymba.

The war continues to cause terrible consequences for our country and takes away the best sons and daughters of Ukraine who are bravely defending their homeland from the Russian enemy until their last breath.

The loss of a soldier is a reminder of the value of life, that we must remember and honour those who give their lives for the sake of our future. They are our true heroes who stand on the frontline, protecting our country from any threats.

Having created a living corridor, the community said goodbye to their Hero on their knees, with tears in their eyes, grief and pain from the irreparable loss.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. The bright memory of Roman and boundless gratitude for his loyalty to the Motherland will remain in our hearts forever!

According to the order of the mayor of Nadvirna, on 1 and 2 August, mourning days will be held on the territory of the Nadvirna community!
