Roman’s family is deeply saddened, and two children are left without a father.
The residents of Velykomostiv gathered to support the family and pay their last respects to the deceased: children of the Velykomostiv Lyceum, where Roman studied, met the funeral procession with flowers and lamps in a human corridor.
Relatives, friends, acquaintances, comrades-in-arms and caring community members came to say goodbye to the Defender to worship the Hero who gave his life for each of us, for peaceful dawns, for the opportunity to live in a free country, for the happiness of being Ukrainian!
Our sincere condolences to the parents, brother and his family, daughters and all the relatives of the fallen Hero.
The courageous defender was buried with military honors at the local cemetery in his hometown of Velyki Mosty.
The National Anthem of Ukraine performed by a military band and a military salute accompanied the moment of farewell to the fallen soldier.
