Death of Hero Volodymyr Muzh: Sokal Region in Mourning

The Sokal region is in mourning due to the death of Hero Volodymyr Muzh, who gave his life for Ukraine.

Volodymyr Bohdanovych Muzh, born on May 12, 2001, was a resident of the village of Leshchativ. He was a young patriot, full of strength and energy, who remained loyal to the military oath until the very end. “A young patriot, full of strength and energy, a Hero who remained loyal to the Military oath until the very end,” – stated in the message.

Volodymyr received his initial education in his native village of Leshchativ from 2007 to 2011, then studied at Bobiatyn Secondary School I-II levels until 2016, and from 2016 to 2018 – at Luchytskiv Secondary School I-III levels. From 2018 to 2022 he studied at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics.

In March 2022, Volodymyr became a volunteer of the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps “Right Sector” (DUK PS). In November 2022, this corps was reformatted into the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade “DUK” as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Volodymyr received the rank of junior sergeant, a Combatant certificate, and the “War Veteran” medal on August 29, 2023.

In the fall of 2023, he transferred to a company of strike unmanned aerial vehicle systems, where he operated drone bombers. His main areas of work were Kharkiv, Lyman, and Luhansk. In December 2024, Volodymyr transferred to the 423rd Separate Battalion of Unmanned Systems “Scythian Gryphons”, where he served as a Squad Commander. He died while carrying out a combat mission.
